Chase Matthew Revs Up Third Album With “Drives My Truck”

Chase Matthew is hitting the fast lane once again, as he turns the ignition on revved-up anthem “DRIVES MY TRUCK.” Listen here.

Out today (1/17), the uptempo jam finds the real-life car enthusiast hard on the gas with a flirtatious throwback to the truck songs of the ‘90s – just with extra horsepower. Amping a high-octane mix of turbo-charged swagger, heavy-duty drums, and redlined electric guitars, the rollicking track (written by MatthewBrock Berryhill, and Taylor Phillips) speaks to losing control in all the best ways when your girl takes the wheel.

Meanwhile, “DRIVES MY TRUCK” sets the stage for Matthew to deliver his hotly anticipated upcoming album. Marking the Nashville native’s third full-length studio set, CHASE arrives on February 21 with 13 tracks like the previously released “MISSIN’ ME MISSIN’ YOU” and “BACKROADS OF MY MIND.” With writing credits on nine tracks – including one solo write – CHASE also features a guest appearance by Lauren Alaina, and was produced by Austin Shawn with co-production on select tracks by Brock BerryhillBlake BollingerBrian BunnGabe Foust, and Will Bundy, plus an additional song produced by Danny MajićPre-save/pre-add CHASE here.

More information is yet to come, but in the “mother” of all album release parties, Matthew celebrates a massive milestone on the day (2/21) CHASE launches, setting the “Mother Church of Country Music” – Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium – for his SOLD-OUT hometown headline debut at the historic venue.

Arriving after a multi-year run of undeniable success, CHASE follows the 2024 release of EPs Always Be Mine and We All Grow Up (which features the commanding Country radio single “Darlin’”); 2023’s sophomore album Come Get Your Memory (with the GOLD-certified, Top 5 debut single “Love You Again”); and Matthew’s 2022 album debut, Born for This.

The Country-or-nothing hitmaker earned his first RIAA PLATINUM-certification with “County Line,” and has notched 1 BILLION+ global career streams, while performing more than 145 electrifying shows last year alone – rocking over 1 MILLION fans on his COME GET YOUR MEMORY TOUR and EXTENDED trek, plus supporting spots with Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. Looking ahead, tickets for Matthew’s 2025 WORLD TOUR are on sale and going fast, as he plans a headlining run across the U.S., U.K., and Europe, before joining Keith Urban’s HIGH AND ALIVE WORLD TOUR this summer, with dates in the U.S. and Australia. Watch Urban’s tour announce video here.

After becoming a Billboard Hot 100-charting artist last fall (with “Love You Again”), 2024 found Matthew earning still more accolades like his first award show nomination (2024 People’s Choice Country Awards), becoming a member of the Class of 2024 for both Opry NextStage and MusicRow’s Next Big Thing, among others, while exploring outside the genre lines on collaborations with Flo Rida (“Floats Your Boat”) and Fernando & Sorocaba (“Cold Blooded”). Needless to say, there’s much more to come as this year unfolds.
