Kashus Culpepper Delivers Music Video Fof “After Me?”

Alabama-born country crooner Kashus Culpepper releases an official music video for “After Me?” which premiered with CMT making its broadcast debut on Paramount’s Times Square billboard, and announces forthcoming release, “Jenni,” out Jan. 24.
About shooting his first-ever music video, “honest storyteller” (The Tennessean) Culpepper shares, “I’m a huge fan of movies. Really love the art of it all – which is why it was important for my first video to incorporate elements of my favorite films and music videos.”
Opening with a trunk shot and title sequence alluding to the signature style of cultural touchstone Quentin Tarantino, the striking video directed by Jay Miller provides a compelling visual for the brooding song produced by Brian Elmquist (The Lone Bellow) and written by Culpepper alongside Mark Addison Chandler.

Following the release of “After Me?” Billboard concluded that Culpepper stands out as an artist finding success “with sounds expanding beyond the boundaries of mainstream country,” while Country Central noted “Culpepper is one of the most interesting newcomers.”
Culpepper recently made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry just six months into his career as a recording artist. Hitting the ground running this year, he will take his inextricable influences of country, soul, blues and folk back on the road opening for Leon Bridges, Ian Munsick, and making first-ever appearances at Stagecoach, C2C in London, Tortuga Music Festival, and more.
