Alexandra Savior Releases New Single “Unforgivable” & Signs with RCA Records

Singer, songwriter, and creative visionary Alexandra Savior has released her new single “Unforgivable,” the first release from her newly inked partnership with RCA Records. Produced by Drew Erickson (Lana Del Rey, Father John Misty), “Unforgivable” is a slice of old Hollywood femme fatale. PRESS HERE to listen.

“We’ve all had experiences like this as women—it’s universal,” shares Savior. “I needed to write a song that was a mantra, so that I could stop blaming myself for experiences I’ve had where I was mistreated. I felt if I kept telling myself these things were unforgivable, maybe I would finally start to believe it myself.”

Existing between planes and genres, Savior made a name for herself as an effortlessly cool, once-in-a-generation talent and, in her new music, is paying homage to noir and vintage surrealist cinema as well as prophetic image makers Man Ray, Jean Cocteau, and Maya Deren. With almost 200 million organic streams on Spotify alone, Savior has received critical acclaim from Pitchfork, Billboard, VICE, Consequence, Forbes, Interview Magazine, Refinery29, Paste, NME, Clash, and many more for her unwavering, undefinable artistry and the rich narratives that permeate her storytelling.

Building on the success of her previous albums The Archer, which welcomed breakthrough hit “Can’t Help Myself,” and her debut Belladonna of Sadness that featured stand out track “Girlie,” Savior is taking over the helm and, with her new music, is embracing her newfound creative freedom to right a course that had left her feeling creatively adrift.
