Lily Rose Releases Country-Pop Smash “I Know What I Want”

Trailblazing country artist Lily Rose continues to deliver fresh new music to her fans with the release of her latest track, “I Know What I Want,” out now. Infused with a steady beat and pop-forward production, the song introduces a new sonic vibe while staying true to her conversational country sound that listeners know and love. Written by Rose, Paul DiGiovanni, Andy Albert, Emily Weisband, Jaxson Free and Taylor Phillips, the lyrics capture the confidence of moving forward with clarity and refusing to fall into love’s familiar traps.

“‘I Know What I Want’ is a product of a night out opening up for Cole Swindell and Dylan Scott,” shares Rose. “We had writers out that weekend and after the show (and a few beers), some of the writers came on my bus and this song just kind of poured out. My producer, Paul DiGiovanni, nailed the light-hearted, hip-hop inspired track that pairs perfectly with the matter-of-fact, fun lyrics. I hope this will be a crowd favorite on my setlist from here on out.”

Rose kicked off 2025 with the release of “Let You Know When I Get There,” which Country Swag tapped as “one of Rose’s most impressive releases to date.” She went on to thrill audiences when she performed a sold-out headlining show at Nashville’s The Basement East. She continues to bring her “distinct, dusky, conversational vocal style” (Billboard) to audiences nationwide on her Runnin’ Outta Time Tour, hitting 14 cities across the country with special guest Payton Smith.
Named an artist to watch by CMT, MusicRow and Amazon, with recognition from GLAAD as an Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist and an ACM nominee, Rose continues to carve a path uniquely her own.
