“Fiesta Day is one of the oldest events in Tampa Bay,” said Lee Bell, Ybor City Chamber of Commerce President & CEO. “We encourage all who love Ybor, young and old, to come out for this wonderful, family-friendly daylong celebration.”
Fiesta Day is a cherished tradition in Ybor City, which commemorates the rich history of Ybor and highlights the cultural contributions of its early immigrants who relocated to the “Cigar Capital of the World.” Originally a day of rest for the factory workers, Fiesta Day has grown into a street festival that brings together Cuban, German, Italian, Spanish, and Jewish heritages.
This all-day event features traditions from the cultures that have influenced the city’s rich history and continue to shape its future. Take a stroll through the National Historic Landmark District that is Ybor City and enjoy all the sights and sounds offered to visitors.
